Biography
Kathleen learned the hard way the difference between an exclusive buyer agent and all the other real estate agents. Back when she was only 24 years old, she and her roommates decided to buy a home together. Chosen to take the lead, she found herself up against what, at the time, seemed to be a daunting, exceedingly complicated procedure.

"I was young, naïve and didn't have a clue as to what I was doing," says Kathleen. "It really turned out to be a miserable experience." Her biggest misstep was not knowing that most all agents - even those who happily offer to show homes to unsuspecting home buyers - actually represent the interests of the seller.

Had she known to ask for an exclusive buyer agent, she would have had a real estate agent who represented her and not the seller.
